Ooh, this looks like fun!

1. "You speak French?" (Jayne/Inara)
2. "They're just called finger sandwiches!" (River/Badger)
3. "Don't worry - I can fix this" (Simon/Mal)
4. "Nothin' a couple of beers won't cure" (Simon and Jayne bonding over their women troubles; Simon clueless than Jayne's troubles are with River)

1. This one would take place during "Out of Gas" when they've already sent out the shuttles. Maybe Jayne says something pretty simple like "Mon dieu!" and Inara has a wtf reaction. Turns out Jayne used to favor a French whore and starts to go into disgusting detail when Book tells him that's enough, they get the point. Then Jayne starts talking about more nationalities but then they get the call from Zoe to get back to Serenity and they all do, gladly. Maybe it ends with Kaylee making some remark about "whores of the rainbow."

2. Badger shows up on the boat with a job proposition. No one's pleased to see him but Kaylee makes the best of it and goes about making refreshments. They leave Badger with River and she gets kind of creepy and it finally culminates in River inquiring after the sandwiches, which were made with a mysterious looking meat anyway. Badger chokes up what he's eaten, stops assing around and gives Mal the pertinent details, and then beats a hasty retreat. River proclaims it the worst tea party ever.

3. Told mostly in dialogue, Mal's obviously upset and Simon's very placating. Mal shrieks in pain at one point. The big reveal is that Mal got in the way of Kaylee's nail gun and got one right in the forehead.

4. Married!Simon has been thrown out of his and Kaylee's bunk for saying to a pregnant Kaylee, "You don't ALWAYS look fat, just wait the nine months and-" Jayne, who's no stranger to saying the wrong thing, hang out at a bar while Jayne regales Simon with tales about how often he's messed up with the lady he's been pursuing. It's all funny in a pretty pathetic way especially when he gets to telling Simon about the bad poetry he's written her in love letters. Simon makes an offhand remark about River hiding letters under her pillow and Jayne tears off to go investigate. Simon toasts himself, "Alone again, naturally."

Great job! You'll be pleased to know that River's tea party with Badger as you describe it gets mentioned in the next section of "Interventions" (which should be finished Real Soon Now - I had hoped to have it and another story done by Thanksgiving, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen).
