I laughed, you can't be any worse at online discussions than the 4-5 of us that post. There hasn't been a lot of back and forth. We haven't go the hang of it at all. The topics remain open. I was hoping that even if people read the book before they joined or they join after we've read it & are interested in reading it that they can still comment. And that we'd have some discussion, we're working our way to that, I hope.
The whole thing is very informal but at the same time I wish I could get people to participate more. With everyone busy the time frame for this book is Sept/Oct. Next week or early October I'll remind people to suggest books for next round of voting (books carry over to next vote) & then we'll have a week or 2 of voting and we'll read 1 book for Nov/Dec. I like to give people time to find the next book in case they have to request it at the library or whatever.
Book Wenches group, you have to sign up at goodreads but you don't have to list your books there if you don't want, you can just use the account to comment.
I used to be amazed that you could read more than one book at a time, I didn't know how you did it, but in the last year I've started to read 2-3 books at a time myself. I will have one in my purse, one by my computer & sometimes on by my bed or an E-book loaded on my netbook that I read in bed. And sometimes I will have another going on my phone.
I added White Ghost Girls, Living Dead Girl, Beyond Heaving Bosoms, and a few more but now I can't remember which. They are on my goodreads account so I will get around to them.
