RAYNE REQUEST POST

Here's my idea: I haven't written Rayne in forever and I actually really miss them. The problem is that the bunnies I do have are multi-chapter length stories and I just don't have the energy for that again. (At least, not when I have a multi-chapter length story already in the works. :P)


So here's where you leave me fic requests of what you want to see and I'll write a short story (or maybe short chapter length story... a novella?). I'll write and post the stories over Winter break when I'll have free time on my hands.


Sounds good? If so, feel free to leave me a Rayne request. I have to ask that you just leave one however. Because if you post more than one and say "choose one" I'll get the stupid idea of doing all of them and, well, we all remember what happened during the Five fic meme, right? It took me forever to get to people's requests.

Okay, there's a picture over on summer-glau.net and when I saw this line came to my head.

I just thought it was a great Vera vs. River's new gun moment, and it could be pre-rayne, or full rayne.

Well, I've only seen this done once in a Rayne fic (a long, long time ago), and it's a good idea for a fic - but how about a good ole fashioned pool hustle? Where one or the other of our intrepid duo discovers here to fore unknown skills about the other one, and loses their pants (metaphorically speaking... or not) in the process of the game - quite easy to keep as a one shot...

Take Simon's line from Ariel and develop some Rayne-y goodness. I lean towards having either Jayne or River saying the line to Mal, but that's up to you.

Fair warning: I have a 'novella' using the same prompt which I should start posting eventually. (If I ever start typing ficage again-rotten work schedule)

Oh, I'm so excited about this Rayne request-o-rama you've got going here.....I really seem to gravitate towards Rayne being stuck in some rainstorm/snowstorm thing. I've read some great fics you've written so I just know you'll come up with some sort of wonderful scenario. I also like the idea of them making out in the mule if they happen to have it alone on a job or some such. I'll enjoy anything you write so if you don't have time...no prob. (Also, do you write any Casey fics from Chuck? if so, any Casey/Ellie works for me as well.) Adios....:)Ali

I've written one G-rated Major Casey fic (http://toxic-corn.livejournal.com/161122.html) that hints at Casey/Ellie. Probably wasn't what you had in mind but I have to work up to anything harder. :P

Yes, yes, I read this one and loved it. It was hilarious with the audition style and all. I think this is the one that really got me interested with a John/Ellie pairing. Love your stuff. Take care and have a nice week. :)Ali

P.S., I just finished "She's a Sticky Fingered Filcher/Where in the World is River Tam" series and loved it. Also dug the adult version of "The Training House" very hot and very fun.
